One of the most sought-after French fantasy tarots, Le Tarot d’Ambre is illustrated by Florence Magnin and based on the legendary saga Le Cycle des Princes d’Ambre by Roger Zelazny. Originally created as part of the Ambre role-playing universe, this tarot blends the structure of the Marseille tradition with vivid fantasy artwork and iconic characters from the novels.
The Major Arcana follow Marseille symbolism while portraying heroes and scenes from Amber. The Minor Arcana are rich, colorful, and detailed, with court cards directly inspired by the series. The deck’s fantasy landscapes give each card a dynamic, almost living atmosphere.
This edition — published by Jeux Descartes in 1994 — has become incredibly hard to find complete.

“The Ambre Tarot has become a grail item for collectors of fantasy tarots and French RPG memorabilia. Most surviving sets show heavy wear, making a copy with pristine cards and the original booklet exceedingly rare. Florence Magnin’s detailed illustrations and the deck’s strong connection to Zelazny’s Amber universe make this one of the most coveted French-themed tarots of the 1990s.”
This exceptional tarot deck is a 1960 bicentenary re-edition of the legendary Tarot de Marseille by Nicolas Conver, faithfully reproduced by Camoin from the original 1760 woodblocks.
Printed to commemorate 200 years of the Conver Tarot, this edition is widely regarded as one of the finest historical reproductions ever produced.
The images are beautifully printed on ivory-toned cardstock, respecting the original 18th-century engravings.
The colors follow a late 19th-century palette, using four vivid tones (red, yellow, blue, pink), resulting in striking yet historically coherent visuals.
An outstanding collector’s copy, preserved in near-mint condition, complete with its original Camoin box.

The Anaïs Tarot is a deeply introspective and atmospheric tarot deck born from a moment of inner suspension, where imagery replaces language and silence becomes a guide. Inspired by the Tarot of Marseille, each card was meticulously hand-drawn by Ezelspook over more than three years, resulting in a cohesive and profoundly personal visual system.
This first edition(edition 1) produced exclusively for Antique Arcana, is not distributed through mass-market channels. The elongated format, medieval pigment palette, and subdued tones give the deck a timeless, almost monastic presence. Designed as a bridge between the visible and the invisible, it speaks especially to intuitive readers, artists, and contemplative practitioners. A rare example of contemporary tarot creation rooted in historical aesthetics and inner exploration.

The Tarot de Marseille Convos, published by AGMüller in 1999, is a brilliant revival of the classic 18th-century Conver woodcut tarot.
Artist Otto Spalinger named his deck Convos by blending the name of the historical master Nicolas Conver (1760) with his own initials — CONV + OS — symbolizing both continuity and reinvention.
This edition stands out for its clear, modern lines, bright and balanced palette, and faithful reconstruction of traditional Marseille symbolism.
Spalinger’s careful use of geometry and color breathes new life into the iconic archetypes while maintaining their esoteric depth.
A must-have for all collectors and readers who cherish the authentic Marseille lineage — vibrant, structured, and full of history.

🪶 Collector’s Note
This large-format edition of the Tarot Hindou is highly sought after by collectors due to its distinctive format and artistic presence. The Universal Manouche Tarot of the 21st Century was conceived and illustrated by Sandra Jayat in 2002. A painter and novelist born to Gypsy parents, Jayat created this tarot as a living transmission of Romani spiritual heritage—an oral culture preserved through memory, symbolism, and ancestral wisdom.
This unique tarot departs from classical European structures. The traditional figures such as the Emperor or Empress are deliberately absent, as they did not exist within Gypsy tribal culture at the time tarot symbolism emerged. Instead, they are replaced by archetypal men and women embodying universal human qualities, emphasizing intuition, lived experience, and divinatory meaning.
