This beautiful deck titled Jeux de Cartes des Opéras Romantiques was published by the Bibliothèque Nationale – Musée de l’Opéra de Paris. It features historically inspired artwork depicting original costume plates from iconic French Romantic operas such as Les Huguenots and Robert le Diable by Meyerbeer, Ali-Baba by Cherubini, and Gustave III by Auber. These operas were first staged at the Paris Opéra between 1830 and 1840. The court cards and Jokers illustrate named characters in full theatrical costume. A perfect collectible for opera lovers and card enthusiasts alike.

Condition: Cards in very good condition, box shows light wear from storage.
Each deck has 52 suited cards, plus 2 Jokers, plus 1 extra card with a brief general description of what is depicted on the cards.
Condition: Box is showing few signs of wear due to storage as pictured. Cards are in Very good condition.
