The Oracle Belline, originally drawn by Edmond around 1845 and rediscovered by the seer Belline, is one of the most famous French oracles after the Tarot de Marseille. Its apparently simple yet psychologically charged illustrations are designed to speak directly to the unconscious, offering clear and emotional insights.

Each card carries a planetary correspondence, making this deck both mystical and structured—an indispensable classic for cartomancers, historians of divination, and collectors of French esoterica.

Grimaud, a cornerstone of French playing-card history (founded 1848), later became part of France Cartes. Their Belline edition remains the definitive modern printing, faithful to the 19th-century original while preserving the tactile elegance of French cartomancy decks.
