This rare and beautiful edition of I Tarocchini is a 1978 facsimile reprint of the historic tarot deck engraved by Giuseppe Maria Mitelli between 1663 and 1669. Produced by Grafica Gutenberg (Italy), the deck reproduces the celebrated Bolognese tarot tradition known as Tarocchino, characterized by its reduced structure of 62 cards.
This edition includes lightly watercolored cards, a booklet in Italian, and a hardcover slipcase-style box with Mitelli’s artwork on the front and back. Each card is a faithful reproduction of the 17th-century originals, showcasing allegorical figures from Renaissance iconography. The trumps follow a unique sequence derived from the Bolognese “Type A” order, with some surprising visual interpretations—such as “Love” portrayed by a blindfolded Cupid holding a flaming heart, or “Strength” as a woman embracing a column.
Mitelli’s deck is more than a historical curiosity; it is a window into the intellectual and artistic sensibilities of Baroque Bologna. This 1978 edition has become a collectible in its own right.

This exceptionally rare and artistically striking deck is a numbered and limited edition tarot designed by Éric Provoost and published in Paris in 1982. The Minotarot reimagines the traditional 78-card tarot through the lens of Greek mythology, focusing on the legendary battle between Theseus and the Minotaur inside the Cretan labyrinth.
Each black-and-white card, enhanced with sepia tones, depicts surreal mythological scenes. When placed edge to edge, the cards form a continuous frieze illustrating Theseus' perilous journey, offering a poetic and visual narrative unlike any other tarot.
The box carries the quote: “En suivant le fil des cartes, se déroule le dédale des couloirs du labyrinthe et des destins de Thésée.”
(“In following the thread of the cards, the labyrinthine maze of corridors and the fates that befell Theseus will unwind themselves.”)

🪶 Collector’s Note
The Minotarot has become one of the most elusive French art tarots of the 1980s. Printed in just 2,000 numbered copies, it is prized for its unique concept: when aligned, all 78 cards form a continuous fresco of Theseus’ journey through the labyrinth. The stark black-and-white imagery, enriched with sepia mythological scenes, gives the deck a haunting, archaeological beauty. Complete copies with the original booklet rarely surface, making this edition a true treasure for tarot collectors and lovers of Greek mythology.
This charming and imaginative tarot deck offers a canine-infused reinterpretation of the classic 78-card tarot tradition. Originally published in France in 2002 by Éditions De Vecchi, Le Tarot du Chien features delightful illustrations by Claude Trapet and a thoughtful guidebook by Carole Sédillot. Each card blends the familiar archetypes of tarot with dogs of various breeds, creating a whimsical yet insightful divinatory experience.
Far from a novelty, this deck taps into deep symbolic currents—reminding us that all mythologies, including those with four legs and wagging tails, can serve as pathways to intuition, insight, and mystery.

🔹 Very rare 1969 vintage edition of the Ancien Tarot de Marseille by B.P. Grimaud (green box version)
🔹 The green box shows some signs of age and wear from storage (edge rubbing, slight fraying) — see photos
🔹 Cards are in very good condition, with vivid colors and almost no handling wear (like new)
🔹 Includes the original booklet in French
🔹 Highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs of Marseille-style tarot decks
🔹 Traditional Marseille structure with 78 cards and French titles
The Ancien Tarot de Marseille by B.P. Grimaud is one of the most influential decks of the 20th century. In 1930, Paul Marteau reinterpreted the 1760 Tarot de Marseille by Nicolas Conver, giving it vivid colors and slight design changes that set the standard for modern Marseille tarots.
By the late 1960s, Grimaud was still producing this deck in different print runs. The 1969 "Green Box" edition belongs to one of the earliest modern reprints after the Second World War. It reflects the growing interest in tarot during the esoteric revival of the 1960s and 70s, when cartomancy, mysticism, and New Age spirituality were becoming mainstream once again.
Today, the 1969 green-box edition is considered rare and collectible, because later Grimaud decks adopted new packaging designs and different printing styles. Owning this deck means holding a bridge between the classical 18th-century Marseille imagery and the modern tarot revival that spread internationally during the second half of the 20th century.

Le Grand Tarot de Belline was drawn by Edmond Billaudot (1829-1881) who was also known as Magus Edmond, a great 19th century mage. He used it to unveil the mysteries of the future to the Emperor Napoleon III.
It superficially resembles the Tarot de Marseille, but differs from it in time, design and symbolism, especially the numeral cards. The deck bequeaths ideas from a succession of well-known 18th & 19th century occultists and incorporates kabalistic, astrological and Egyptian influences, as well as the philosophical musings of Edmond Billaudot himself. A condensed cartomantic interpretation is hand-written on each card along with esoteric symbols and glyphs which facilitate the process of abstraction.
The deck is using ideas from Etteilla, Éliphas Leví, and Paul Christian. Each card is divided into four sections, upper and lower bands, and upper and lower fields. Written on the upper band is Leví's mundane kabalistic letter for the Majors, the Gematria number and Paul Christian astrological correspondences. The Red Key-Words are the same as in Jeu Du Grand Etteilla. The bottom band of the card contains the card name, the bottom field of the card contains a proverb specific to the card.
