Collectible deck made in France by B. P. Grimaud
It is in 1974 that the game created by Jean Rignac from RTL (a famous radio station).
This game consists of sixteen large cards representing the 12 astrological houses and the 4 specifically geomantic houses found in the traditional theme, 64 smaller cards representing each geomantic figure repeated four times (16X4, therefore), and ten cards representing either one point or two (5 of each).
What is interesting about this game is that graphically it is rather pretty, while remaining simple: the geomantic figures as they are are in the center of the card, above the name, two astrological symbols which give an overview of certain possible correspondences, a dominant color which tells us whether the figure is good, bad or neutral, and above all a few key words below the name of the card, which give us a quick but completely useful meaning for the neophyte.
PRO TIP: Simply mix the cards of the figures and make a big astrological wheel of everything there was without taking into account the rules of construction of the geomantic theme. The result will surprise you...
Le Grand Geomancien is complete (100 cards) and comes in its original box, it includes a booklet with game instructions (in French), the reverse side of the cards has a blue geometrical pattern
Cards & booklet are in excellent condition, they are unused (one small card deck are still under blister)
the box is in good to fair condition

Le Paradisier (literally The Bird of Paradise) is a French divination game from the 1990s, first published as a collectible insert in Femme Actuelle magazine. Each of the 52 illustrated cards represents a bird species, chosen for its symbolic meaning — often inspired by traditional sayings or natural behaviors.
For example:
🕊 Le Cygne (The Swan) – purity, fidelity, spiritual beauty
🦉 La Hulotte (The Owl) – wisdom, mystery, and foresight
🐦 Le Moineau (The Sparrow) – simplicity, friendship, and daily joys
🦜 Le Perroquet (The Parrot) – communication, repetition, or gossip
🦅 L’Aigle (The Eagle) – vision, power, and higher perspective
The game was designed as a light, intuitive oracle: each bird conveys an emotional or situational message, guiding the querent through reflection rather than prediction.
The name Le Paradisier evokes both the tropical bird of paradise and the paradis (heavenly) nature of insight — a poetic bridge between the natural world and human intuition.
At the time, readers would cut out and mount each card by hand, gluing the illustrations on plain backs, making every surviving deck unique.
🔹 52 cards (approx. 5 × 8.7 cm)
🔹 Complete hand-assembled deck from Femme Actuelle, circa 1990s
🔹 Includes digital scans of both original instruction sheets (PDF in French)
🔹 Vintage illustrations of birds and symbolic meanings
🔹 Very good condition considering age and handmade nature
A wonderful collector’s piece from the golden age of magazine oracles — simple, poetic, and authentically French.
🪶 Collector’s Note
Each Paradisier deck was once a personal creation — cut, glued, and kept as a small treasure of daily fortune-telling. This handmade survivor captures the spirit of 1990s popular divination in France from this vintage edition of Femme Actuelle magazine.

First appearing around 1807, this oracle was designed as a moral and symbolic “game for ladies,” blending Enlightenment philosophy with early cartomancy.
Each of the 42 cards features classical allegories, virtues, and human conditions, sometimes with double images (making a total of 52 illustrations).

Le Psycho-Tarot originally created by WM J Hurley & J A Horler in 1974
This offering is for the 3rd edition Deck & booklet revised by Dr. Denise Roussel in 1993. It is a vintage collectible with some wearing on the box only. The cards and booklet are in very, very good condition.
Result of a team effort (Jack and Rae Hurley + John Horler, Canadian artist), created in 1973 in California, this very original tarot of 78 cards, only in black and white, is based on the tarot of Marseilles while being very far away.
Based on the concepts of Gestalt, transactional analysis and psychosynthesis, it was thought out, designed and designed to be a psychological tool. It is the perfect revelation tool for, during a projective draw, achieving a better understanding of oneself, of others and of one's environment.
It also has the particularity of offering, in addition to the usual 78 cards, a black card and a white card, shadow and light, sorts of jokers that the consultant can interpret in complete freedom. It is a game that leads us irresistibly towards our own depths and particularly favors the expression of our unconscious. The designs of the cards are drawn from the archetypes which constitute the very basis of our thought and our behavior as Westerners (Jungian inspiration).

A rare antique French puzzle, Le Quart d’Heure de Rabelais (also known as Les Bourgeois Punis), produced in Paris around 1895–1910.
This charming logic puzzle was published by Jeux et Jouets Français and features beautifully printed, colourful wooden tiles depicting students and bourgeois characters.
The goal of the game is to arrange the men around a “table” so that the last one (or last two) must pay the bill — a humorous nod to the French expression “le quart d’heure de Rabelais”, meaning “the moment when it’s time to pay”.
The set includes all original tiles, the printed instruction sheet, and the original box with its period lithographed cover. A beautiful example of early French recreational mathematics and storytelling.
🔹 Publisher: Les Jeux et Jouets Français(JJF), Paris

🔹 An honest and authentic example showing decades of use
🪶 Collector's Note
Created during the golden age of French astrology, Le Tarot Astrologique is one of George Muchery's most intriguing and elusive creations. Unlike conventional tarot decks, it was conceived as a genuine astrological divination system, incorporating planets, zodiac signs, the Ascendant, and other key elements of traditional astrology.
The artwork by Henri Armengol perfectly captures the elegance of the Art Deco era, while the large-format cards make the deck particularly striking in use and display.
Complete examples are seldom encountered today, especially outside specialized occult collections. Its combination of historical importance, astrological content, and period artwork makes it a highly desirable acquisition for collectors of French esoterica, astrology, and early divinatory card systems.

An elegant and very scarce French divination deck, Le Tarot Cardinal reflects the 1970s–80s fortune-telling culture of France, where simplified Marseille-based decks were created for quick, accessible readings.
Its association method makes it historically valuable for collectors of French cartomancy, Grimaud editions, and vintage Major Arcana–only systems. Complete boxed copies like this one are increasingly hard to find.

A remarkable and rare tarot deck conceived and illustrated by Alain Bocher, first published in 1982 by Alréa, Rennes.
Le Tarot de la Réa is both initiatic and divinatory, an artistic meditation on the hidden mechanisms of fate. Bocher’s stylized figures — surreal, angular, and deeply symbolic — embody the alchemical union of form and spirit. Each card resonates with philosophical reflection, echoing the quote printed inside:
“Il y a plus de choses dans le ciel et sur la terre que n’en rêve votre philosophie.” — Shakespeare (Hamlet)
This 78-card deck, drawn “selon la tradition,” reinterprets the Marseille archetypes through a modern spiritual lens.
Printed in France on thick matte cardstock, presented in its original two-part black box with gold interior and red ribbons.
🔹 Creator: Alain Bocher
🔹 Publisher: Alréa / Les Presses Bretonnes, 1982

🔹 Complete 78 cards (22 Major + 56 Minor Arcana)
🔹 Card size: 7.25 × 13 cm
🔹 Booklet in French included

🪶 Collector’s Note
A true hidden gem of French esotericism, Le Tarot de la Réa (1982) by Alain Bocher merges the Marseille tradition with surrealist symbolism. Its flowing, abstract figures and radiant colors reveal a deeply introspective vision of the Tarot — poetic, initiatory, and timeless.
Printed in a small independent run by Alréa in Rennes, this rare edition embodies the spirit of 20th-century artisanal tarots — intimate, philosophical, and crafted for seekers rather than the masses.
✨ Out of print and extremely hard to find — a true collector’s gem.
