The Épitre aux Dames is a charming French divination deck, faithfully reproduced from the original circa 1820 edition once preserved in the Bibliothèque Nationale de Paris. This vintage printing was produced by Éditions Dusserre (Paris), likely in the 1970s, before the publisher was later absorbed into Cartamundi.

This elegant 32-card oracle blends classic French playing-card suits with symbolic and poetic scenes intended for fortune-telling. Each card retains the delicate hand-colored style of Restoration-era engravings, making this deck a beautiful historical curiosity as well as a working oracle.
