A powerful and culturally significant Afro-Brazilian tarot deck by Eneida Duarte Gaspar, blending traditional tarot archetypes with the sacred pantheon of Orixás from Candomblé and Umbanda.
This is the early 2002 Pallas edition, printed on very thick, high-quality cardstock, clearly distinct from later reprints.
It includes 22 Major Arcana only, each representing an Orixá or spiritual entity such as Ossain, Iemanjá, Xangô, Oxum, Oxumaré, and Zé Pelintra.
Bilingual titles (Portuguese and Spanish) enrich each image, uniting African spirituality and Western esoteric structure.
The deck has been used and shows age-related patina, adding authentic character.
Comes with a purple velvet drawstring bag (no box).
🪶 Collector’s Note
An evocative deck that honors the meeting of Africa and Brazil through sacred art.
Each card is a vivid invocation of the Orixás — spirits of nature, justice, and transformation — portrayed with sincerity and strength.
Early Pallas editions like this one are rare and cherished by collectors for their thick cards, unique illustrations, and deep ritual symbolism.
