The Classic Tarot 1880 (also known as the Ancient Italian Tarot) is a faithful reproduction of a rare Italian deck first printed in 1880 by the Serravalle Sesia card company. Today, only a single surviving example of the original is preserved in the Museo Fournier de Naipes in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.

Unlike the Marseille Tarot, this deck follows a distinct Italian school of design and symbolism, rooted in the work of Fernando Gumppenberg, a Milanese cardmaker of German origin active in the early 19th century. The result is a tarot that blends historic elegance, vivid illustration, and a unique iconographic tradition that stands apart from other European tarots.
