Description
Description
A beautifully illustrated and highly collectible tarot deck created by Italian artist Angelo Giannini and published in 2003 by Lo Scarabeo.
Blending classic Rider–Waite compositions with anthropomorphic animal figures, this deck captures a delicate balance between symbolism, nature, and fantasy. Each card features a human body with the head of an animal—foxes, elephants, rodents, felines, birds, reptiles—painted with poetic tenderness and meticulous research.
This edition is sought after both for its artistry and its originality, representing one of Lo Scarabeo’s most imaginative early-2000s productions.

🪶 Collector’s Note
Tarot of the Animal Lords stands among Lo Scarabeo’s most distinctive artistic decks. Giannini’s blend of zoological study, gentle humor, and classical tarot structure gives this deck a unique charm that appeals to readers and collectors alike.
Printed only once in the early 2000s, it has become increasingly scarce, especially in complete and well-preserved condition.
A truly enchanting piece of tarot history — a must for collectors of animal-themed decks and Lo Scarabeo rarities.
