According to the included insert, this educational card game follows the tradition of Finé de Brianville (1659) and Père Ménestrier (1692), who first used playing cards to teach the art of heraldry.

Each card displays coats of arms of French provinces, noble families, or symbolic motifs — elegantly recreated in a vintage parchment style.
The deck can be played as a Happy Families game or as a traditional deck of cards.
