This is a historical reproduction deck celebrating the ideals of the French Revolution.
Originally created by Silvia Maddonni and published by France Cartes in 1988, this version was produced by Carta Mundi for Reader’s Digest around 1988-1989.

The deck contains 52 playing cards + 2 Jokers + 1 descriptive card, accompanied by a folded leaflet explaining the historical background of the game.
Each card illustrates allegorical figures of Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity, making this not only a functional deck but also a collectible piece of French Revolutionary memory.
