This historical reproduction by B.P. Grimaud / France Cartes (1997) brings back one of the most charming fortune-telling decks of the 18th century — Le Petit Oracle des Dames, originally attributed to the famous French cartomancer Alliette (known as Etteilla).

First appearing around 1807, this oracle was designed as a moral and symbolic “game for ladies,” blending Enlightenment philosophy with early cartomancy.
Each of the 42 cards features classical allegories, virtues, and human conditions, sometimes with double images (making a total of 52 illustrations).
