The I Ching is the traditional Chinese oracle. A text from Antiquity considered to be the most important source of oriental knowledge. His poetic messages marked the Path of the ancient Taoist masters, the Tao. Important decisions and depth of thought were sought in the I Ching. The I Ching is transmitted using symbols. The symbols are formed by continuous and discontinuous lines. Three lines form a trigram. The different combinations of 3 lines (continuous and discontinuous) form eight trigrams: Sky, Earth, Thunder, Mountain, Sun-fire, Wind, Wood, Lake-mist and water. All these symbols are related to nature and its cycles. The trigrams in their duality are assembled in groups of two, thus forming the sixty-four hexagrams of the I Ching. The Tao is the force of the universe in harmony with nature and the hexagrams reveal to us the balance of man with the cosmos.
The first version of the IChing is located in the third millennium before the Christian Era, in texts by Emperor Fu Xi. The I Ching is based on the dualism of the dynamics of the Cosmos where each thing contains its opposite, Ying and Yang, death and rebirth, passive and active. It immerses us in the philosophy of the Tao, the harmony of everything.
This deck of 64 cards in Tarot format (11 cm x 6 cm) will allow you to read the past, present and future of a person by drawing the cards from them. Each card corresponds to a hexagram of the I Ching. In addition to the real hexagram in question printed on each card, the fabulous designer Luis Royo has added a magnificent illustration per card relating to the meaning of each of them.
The I Ching is a very interesting method of reading given that each card has a connection with nature and its balance. This method is not complicated, an explanatory note will teach you how to use the I Ching as in the old days. There are 4 different ways to consult the Ching, each of them is well explained. The explanatory note delivered with the game will also teach you how to interpret the meanings of each symbol. You will quickly realize all the coincidences that will appear in your life when you consult this oracle. You will very quickly let yourself be guided by the I Ching!
