Vintage Marseille Oracle Cards - 2002 - OOP - Out Of Print

A precious deck of cards, tied to the tradition of the "Book of Destiny";

The Oracle of Marseille, from the French city of the same name, renowned for centuries for its master papermakers specializing in playing cards, is inspired by an original deck of 32 cards created around 1860 and considered of great value due to the care particularity which was reserved for him in the hand coloring, something very rare for the time.

Inspired by the tales of sailors and wanderers, this oracle deck is filled with scenes of sea life and travel. The mystery and wisdom of journeys to faraway lands is brilliantly rendered within the historid Lenormand style, which dates back to the days of Napoleon Bonaparte. 

The content of the images offers symbols of daily life which translate, today as then, feelings, emotions, ambitions, conquests and reflections.

Box is showing some signs of wear due to storage as pictured. Cards are in very good condition.

⚠️ This Lo Scarabeo version did NOT come with any booklet when it came out.
This version from early 2000s is not easy to come by.
