Old memory game "The Nassau Florilegium" 1994 - English & French instructions

Published in 1994 by the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, this rare memory game Le Florilège de Nassau reproduces the splendid gouache paintings of Strasbourg painter Johann Walter (1604–1677). Commissioned by Count Jean de Nassau between 1652 and 1665, the original Florilegium celebrates the marvelous gardens of the château d’Idstein, with depictions of fruits, flowers, and views of the castle grounds.

This edition includes 52 beautifully illustrated cards plus instructions in both French and English.
A unique collector’s item, combining art history and play, part of the prestigious “Collection La Mémoire du Jeu.”
