Description
Description
An absolute gem for tarot and oracle collectors — a rare 1980s artifact of surreal divination.
Created in Paris by the enigmatic Mage Dessuart and published by Grimaud in 1986, this oracle fuses cartomancy, futurism, and pop surrealism — where desert landscapes, leather-clad bikers, astronauts, and lovers replace the traditional fortune-teller’s symbols.
Set against ochre Martian horizons, the Oracle Dessuart mirrors the decade’s playful and visionary spirit — equal parts Mad Max, Heavy Metal magazine, and French esoteric art.
Each of the 52 cards bears bilingual titles (French/English), such as Réussite / Success, Lutte / Struggle, and Amitié / Friendship.
Included is the original trilingual booklet (Français, Deutsch, English), featuring the curious “Dix Commandements du Voyant” — a poetic code for the modern seer.

🪶 Collector’s Note
With its blend of humor, sensuality, and sci-fi nostalgia, the Oracle Dessuart stands apart as one of the boldest French oracles of the 1980s.
Printed at the peak of France’s “new age pop” craze, Oracle Dessuart stands out as one of Grimaud’s most unconventional productions. Few complete sets survive with booklet intact — making this edition especially collectible.
