Designed by the renowned Swiss occultist Oswald Wirth (1860–1943), this deck is one of the foundational pillars of modern esoteric tarot. Wirth, secretary to Stanislas de Guaita and a central figure of the French occult revival, created a symbolic system blending Tarot de Marseille structure, Hermetic philosophy, and Hebrew/Kabbalistic correspondences.
