A vibrant full-color reproduction of Claude Burdel’s 18th-century Marseille woodcuts, the Tarot Classic was first published by U.S. Games Systems in 1974 and quickly became a foundational deck for English-speaking tarot readers. Curated by Stuart R. Kaplan, this edition faithfully preserves the medieval Marseille structure—with unillustrated pips, Justice as card VIII, and Strength as XI—while adopting Rider-Waite style titles such as "The High Priestess," "The Hierophant," "Wands," and "Pentacles."

The cards are printed in Switzerland by AG Müller and feature a plaid reversible back design. Includes the original multilingual instruction leaflet. A timeless classic, perfect for collectors and traditionalists alike.
