African American Game For Kids - Children Imagination Deck

This game (IN FRENCH) from 2013 fits into the many forms of card games that already exist. We would like to pay a special tribute to the collective creator of the game “A Thousand and One Tales”.

Duration: approximately 30 min to 1 hour
Public: from 6 years old
Material: deck of cards
Interest in the game: create, imagine, express yourself, listen to each other, cooperate
Objectives of the game: imagine one or more stories from the cards
Number of participants: 2 minimum

Game progress:

The game is made up of 5 families of 20 cards each: animals, characters, objects, environments, landmarks
Each player chooses their cards (from 1 to 5) according to their sensitivity to the different visuals.
Everyone will take the time to develop their story. The arrangement of the cards on the table (face up), as the story progresses, will make it possible to follow the progress of the stories presented (the beginning, the body of the story, the outcome.)
It is possible to create other game rules using this “Story Tarot” tool, such as the game of 7 families, co-construct a story together using cards placed in the middle of the table, etc.
