This is a rare special edition of the classic Tarot de Marseille, based on the historic Jean Dodal deck (circa 1701–1715), and released by Éditions Dusserre in Paris. What makes this version exceptional is its dedication to Madame Soleil, the legendary French astrologer and psychic, whose image and signature proudly adorn the box.

Madame Soleil was a household name in France in the 1970s and 1980s, and this deck pays tribute to her legacy in the esoteric arts. The deck includes 78 full-color cards, a companion instruction booklet in French, and the original illustrated box.

The deck is a faithful reproduction of the Jean Dodal Marseille tarot, one of the oldest and most iconic versions of the Marseille tradition. The artwork maintains the rustic, historic charm of the original hand-colored engravings, ideal for purists, readers, and collectors alike.

Cards and booklet are are in very good condition. The box has signs of wear and handling as pictured.
