Original Tarot of Marrakech / Tarot de Marrakech, created by Georges Colleuil and Jean-Baptiste Valadié and published in 2010. This highly colorful tarot draws upon Arab, Berber and Mediterranean symbolism, imagining an ancient body of wisdom transmitted through Marrakech and preserved through the centuries.
The deck is unusual in containing 79 cards rather than the traditional 78. It comprises 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana, together with an additional 79th card. The striking artwork combines figures, animals, architecture, geometric forms and symbols from different spiritual and cultural traditions. Card titles are printed in French and English.
