A delightful and rare deck of playing cards published by Grimaud in 1983, illustrated by François Poulain. Titled Les Géants d’un Mythe, this set pays tribute to legendary cinema icons with witty caricatures.

🔹 Court cards: portraits of world-famous movie stars (Humphrey Bogart, John Wayne, Clark Gable, Jean Gabin, Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot, Charlie Chaplin, Laurel & Hardy, and more).
🔹 Jokers: a film director in action.
🔹 Aces: film-related imagery (camera, megaphone, film reel, etc.).
🔹 Pip cards: feature unique film-inspired motifs (while keeping the suit symbols).
