A beautiful and historically rich deck, Oracolo di Madre Natura is a modern (2003) reconstruction by Lo Scarabeo of one of the earliest known floral divination decks, originally published around 1840 in France and Northern Italy.
These decks were extremely popular in the mid-1800s but survived in very small quantities, making the 1840 edition exceptionally rare today.
Lo Scarabeo’s 2003 version is one of the only faithful modern printings, preserving:
- the original hand-colored engravings
- the symbolic pairings between flowers and human archetypes
- the moral and emotional themes typical of early European oracles
🔹 Title: Oracolo di Madre Natura
🔹 Publisher: Lo Scarabeo / Ediciones Orbis
🔹 Year: 2002–2003 — First Edition (Out of Print)
🔹 Historical Origin: Based on an extremely rare oracle from c.1840, printed in France & Italy, using the Victorian language of flowers
🔹 Deck: 32 cards with multilingual botanical names and symbolic pairings
🔹 Card size: approx. 9.8 × 6.2 cm
🔹 Bonus: PDF guide (ENG / FR / IT) sent after purchase
🔹 Condition:
- Cards: Like New
- Box: Mild shelf wear (see photos)
🔹 Authenticity: Complete and original 2003 edition — NOT a reproduction printout
Each card blends 19th-century fashion plates, botanical engravings, and symbolic scenes representing themes such as Infidelity, Superstition, Innocence, Pride, Desire, Abundance, and more — exactly like the 1840 oracle.
🪶 Collector’s Note
The Oracolo di Madre Natura is one of the few modern decks directly reconstructed from a floral oracle of circa 1840, a divination system that predates Lenormand-style decks and reflects early Victorian symbolism.
Because most 19th-century floral oracles survive only in museums or private collections, the 2003 Lo Scarabeo edition has become a cult collectible, valued for its historical fidelity, its charming hand-colored illustrations, and its link to the forgotten “flower-meaning” divination tradition.

The Mulūk Wanuwwāb deck stands among the most historically significant reproductions ever printed.
Derived from the 15th-century Mamluk cards of Cairo, this set represents the direct ancestors of European playing cards and the earliest foundations of tarot symbolism.
The ornate geometric and floral designs echo the refinement of Islamic manuscript art, while their structure — cups, swords, coins, and polo sticks — later evolved into the suits of European decks.
This 1972 Aurelia Books edition, produced by Carta Mundi in only 750 numbered copies, is prized by collectors as both an object of beauty and a landmark in the history of divination.
A rare fusion of art, history, and mysticism — the moment where the East gave birth to the Tarot.

🪶 Collector’s Note
Step into the dark salon. 1999's Mystick Domination isn't tarot-it's tarot with knives. Every face from The Tower to Three of Cups has been flayed from the canvas of old masters-Botticelli, Bosch, a sliver of Dali-and repurposed to let you mind-game your friends into early graves. The majors keep their names; the minors? They get new jobs: Knight of Swords = ambush the courier, Five of Pentacles = freeze their assets. Each card ends in a thin black strip that tells you how to cheat, or how to win. Box is scuffed, rules book dog-eared-someone played hard-but every image is bright, every corner sharp. Still smells of the shrink-wrap it never had. 78 cards, 2–5 players, thirty minutes if nobody cheats (they will). Eric Lang's first twisted baby, from Anoch-long gone, so it's basically a museum piece with rules that still bite. If you like tarot and hate people, this is your game.
Mystick: Domination has become a sought-after collectible due to its niche publication, pre-Kickstarter era production, and the involvement of Eric M. Lang, who would later become a major designer in modern board gaming. Complete sets with all cards and booklets are increasingly rare, especially in good condition.

Used in conjunction with the tarot, the oracles help to broaden the reading, bringing new insights and visions. For this reason, they have become very popular with tarologists and fortune tellers.

💡📚 Claves y Secretos del Tarot, launched in Spain by Salvat in 2003, was a serialized collection combining tarot knowledge with collectible decks. Sold weekly in kiosks, each fascicle offered lessons on spreads, archetypes, and history, along with a themed tarot deck inspired by art, history, or mythology. It stands today as one of the most ambitious tarot collectible series ever published.
A very beautiful and cultural tarot, this deck reveals the richness of ancient Native American traditions, their colonies, and their history in great detail. Each of the arcana is fused with soft earth tones, carrying a deep emotional and spiritual resonance. The result is a tarot that is not only elegant, but also highly inspiring.
This fascinating Native American Tarot, published in Italy by Lo Scarabeo, is inspired by shamanism, spirituality, and the connection with the natural world. The artwork, created by Sergio Tisselli (the same artist behind the Vikings Tarot), has a fine, ethereal quality, while remaining grounded in depictions of nature. His skillful use of muted, dusty colors makes the cards feel both timeless and evocative—sometimes highly detailed, other times softened with a hazy watercolor effect.

Designed on the basis of a classic divinatory tarot, these magnificent hieroglyphs bring to everyone the power of the mysteries of ancient Egypt.
This Egyptian Tarot (also known as Nefertari Tarot) was first published by Silvana Alasia in 1998 and re-published by Lo Scarabeo in 2001. The famou Nefertari was known as the bride of Ramses II, Pharaoh of the XIX dynasty in ancient Egypt.
The tarot deck named for her is, of course, Egyptian in art and symbology. It is a 78 card deck, and has scenes on all cards, not only the major arcana. This deck is also the luxury version of the Tarot of the Sphinx.
Both decks by Silvana Alasia have the same ancient-looking artwork, but differ in base colours. The Sphinx deck uses blue borders and a white scene background; Nefertari's has black borders and gold foil instead. The effect of all the textured gold foil is very visually sumptuous. The aged-look Egyptian people and scenery evoke the mystery and luxury of life in the height of civilised Egypt.
This series published classic decks such as The Mantegna Tarot, as well as other original decks created by renowned artists. The result was a series of iconic, high-quality, collectible tarot decks. Most of these decks are out of print and are rare to find.

This tarot deck was drawn by Niki de Saint Phalle. A booklet is included with the artists’ interpretation of each of the 22 major arcana, which are also structurally represented in the Tarot Garden in Tuscany, Italy.
Inspired by Antoni Gaudi's Parc Güell in Barcelona and the mannerist Bomarzo Park, Niki de Saint Phalle created her sculpture park in Garavicchio, in the southernmost part of Tuscany. In this vast garden, the 22 cards of the tarot's Major Arcana are represented in the form of enormous sculptures, 12 to 15 metres high, made of painted polyester and reinforced concrete, and covered in mosaics, mirrors, multicoloured ceramics and coloured Murano glass.
At the end of the 1970s, after her Nouveau Réalisme years of revolt and the more feminist period of the "Nanas", Niki de Saint Phalle created the fairy world of her Tarot Garden at Garavicchio. This enchanted world was, for her, the ultimate achievement of her oeuvre, its culmination. When she died in 2002, she left the Tarot Garden uncompleted.

A biography by Nicole Rudick told in Saint Phalle's own words, assembled from rare and unseen materials
Known best for her exuberant, often large-scale sculptural works that celebrate the abundance and complexity of female desire, imagination and creativity, Niki de Saint Phalle viewed making art as a ritual, a performance―a process connecting life to art.
This unconventional, illuminated biography, told in the first person in Saint Phalle's voice and her own hand, dilates large and small moments in Saint Phalle's life which she sometimes reveals with great candor, at other times carefully unwinding her secrets. Nicole Rudick, in a kind of collaboration with the artist, has assembled a gorgeous and detailed mosaic of Saint Phalle's visual and textual works from a trove of paintings, drawings, sketches and writings, many previously unpublished or long unavailable, that trace her mistakes and successes, her passions and her radical sense of joy.
Saint Phalle's invocation―her "bringing to life"―writes Rudick, "is an apt summation of the overlap of Saint Phalle’s life and art: both a bringing into existence and a bringing to bear. These are visions from the frontiers of consciousness."
