Inspired by the Tarot of Marseille, each card was meticulously hand-drawn by Ezelspook over more than three years, resulting in a cohesive and profoundly personal visual system.
This first edition(edition 1) produced exclusively for Antique Arcana, is not distributed through mass-market channels. The elongated format, medieval pigment palette, and subdued tones give the deck a timeless, almost monastic presence. Designed as a bridge between the visible and the invisible, it speaks especially to intuitive readers, artists, and contemplative practitioners. A rare example of contemporary tarot creation rooted in historical aesthetics and inner exploration.

The Tarot Inabstrait is a striking artistic reinterpretation of the Tarot de Marseille, created by French artists Hervé Malcom Thomas and Julien Cuny, founders of the “Inabstrait” movement.
Originally painted in large-scale canvases (90 × 170 cm) using oil and Indian ink, 38 arcana were transformed into vibrant, abstract-expressionist works before being published by Carta Mundi as a full 78-card deck.
The deck preserves the structure of the Marseille tarot (with suits of Coins, Swords, Wands, and Cups) and can be used for divination, meditation, or even card games like Scopa. Each card bursts with color, energy, and abstract symbolism, offering a unique and modern reading experience that bridges tradition and contemporary art.
🔹 Artists: Hervé Malcom Thomas & Julien Cuny
🔹 Publisher: SELF - PUBLISHED
🔹 Cards: 78 (complete)
🔹 Size: approx. 7 × 12 cm
🔹 Style: Abstract reinterpretation of the Marseille Tarot
🔹 Condition: Excellent – factory sealed/unopened (open deck in photos shown from personal collection for reference)
A rare and avant-garde tarot for both collectors and readers, blending the timeless Marseille structure with the freedom of abstract art.
🪶 Collector’s Note
The Tarot Inabstrait is one of the most original French tarot creations of the early 21st century. Created by artists Hervé Malcom Thomas and Julien Cuny, founders of the Inabstrait movement, it reimagines the Tarot de Marseille through vibrant colors, expressive brushwork, and a unique blend of figuration and abstraction.
Originally painted as monumental canvases, the artworks were later transformed into a complete tarot deck, creating a fascinating bridge between contemporary art and traditional tarot symbolism. While the structure of the Marseille Tarot remains intact, each card offers a fresh, intuitive, and deeply personal visual experience.
Produced in a limited self-published edition and increasingly difficult to find, the Tarot Inabstrait is a remarkable collectible for tarot enthusiasts, art lovers, and collectors of rare independent decks. A bold and unconventional tarot unlike any other.

This tarot deck was drawn by Niki de Saint Phalle. A booklet is included with the artists’ interpretation of each of the 22 major arcana, which are also structurally represented in the Tarot Garden in Tuscany, Italy.
Inspired by Antoni Gaudi's Parc Güell in Barcelona and the mannerist Bomarzo Park, Niki de Saint Phalle created her sculpture park in Garavicchio, in the southernmost part of Tuscany. In this vast garden, the 22 cards of the tarot's Major Arcana are represented in the form of enormous sculptures, 12 to 15 metres high, made of painted polyester and reinforced concrete, and covered in mosaics, mirrors, multicoloured ceramics and coloured Murano glass.
At the end of the 1970s, after her Nouveau Réalisme years of revolt and the more feminist period of the "Nanas", Niki de Saint Phalle created the fairy world of her Tarot Garden at Garavicchio. This enchanted world was, for her, the ultimate achievement of her oeuvre, its culmination. When she died in 2002, she left the Tarot Garden uncompleted.

About the Tarocchi di Vetro
Inspired by the beauty of stained glass, medieval craftsmanship, and Art Nouveau aesthetics, the Tarocchi di Vetro is widely regarded as one of the most elegant tarot decks produced during Lo Scarabeo's formative years.
Artist Elisabetta Trevisan created richly detailed compositions filled with luminous colors, flowing lines, and symbolic imagery reminiscent of cathedral windows and the decorative arts of the late nineteenth century. Her interpretation preserves the traditional symbolism of the Major Arcana while transforming each card into a miniature work of art.
🪶 Collector's Note
The Tarocchi di Vetro occupies a special place in tarot history as one of the earliest artistic masterpieces published by Lo Scarabeo. Trevisan's artwork combines the timeless symbolism of the tarot with the refined elegance of stained-glass design, creating a deck that remains beloved by collectors more than three decades after its release.
Uncut printing sheets are significantly rarer than the decks themselves, as very few survived the production process intact. This example preserves the complete manufacturing layout of the Major Arcana, offering a fascinating glimpse into the creation of one of Lo Scarabeo's most beautiful early tarot decks.
Part printing artifact, part decorative poster, and part tarot history, it is an exceptional piece for collectors of tarot, fantasy illustration, Art Nouveau-inspired art, and rare Lo Scarabeo productions.

About the Tarocchi dell’Incubo
Created during the golden age of Lo Scarabeo's experimental tarot productions, the Tarocchi dell’Incubo reinterprets the Major Arcana through the dark and surreal universe of Dylan Dog, Italy's famous "Investigator of Nightmares."
Artist Angelo Stano transforms traditional tarot archetypes into scenes inspired by horror, dreams, mystery, and psychological symbolism. While preserving the structure of the Tarot de Marseille, the deck infuses each card with the gothic atmosphere and existential themes that made Dylan Dog an international cult phenomenon.
🪶 Collector's Note
Few tarot-related collectibles unite the worlds of comics, horror illustration, and tarot as successfully as the Tarocchi dell’Incubo. Produced at a time when Lo Scarabeo was pioneering innovative tarot concepts, this deck quickly became one of the publisher's most memorable creations.
Uncut printing sheets are considerably rarer than the decks themselves, as almost all were destroyed during the manufacturing process. This surviving example preserves the complete production layout exactly as it appeared on the printing press, offering a fascinating glimpse into the creation of one of Lo Scarabeo's most iconic early tarot projects.
For collectors of Dylan Dog, Angelo Stano, Italian comics, horror art, or rare tarot memorabilia, this is both a historical printing artifact and an impressive display piece.

About the GRAPHIK TAROCCHI by Zoltan Tamassi
Created during the innovative tarot renaissance of the early 1990s, the Graphik Tarocchi is one of the most visually distinctive reinterpretations of the Tarot de Marseille ever published. Rather than adopting a traditional esoteric style, Zoltan Tamassi reimagined the Major Arcana through the language of modern graphic design, combining bold geometric forms, theatrical compositions, and striking color contrasts.
The result is a deck that feels simultaneously timeless and contemporary. Each card distills its archetype into a powerful visual symbol, reflecting the influence of Italian graphic design and poster art. Produced under the artistic direction of Armando Testa—one of Italy's most influential advertising and design studios—the deck remains a cult favorite among tarot collectors and design enthusiasts alike.
🪶 Collector's Note
Uncut tarot printing sheets are far rarer than the decks themselves, as almost all were destroyed during production. This example is especially desirable because it showcases the complete 22-card Major Arcana sequence in its original factory layout, accompanied by the explanatory texts intended for publication.
Part tarot artifact, part graphic design poster, and part printing-history document, this sheet offers a unique perspective on one of Lo Scarabeo's most unusual early creations. For collectors of tarot, Italian design, or uncut printing material, it represents a remarkable and increasingly difficult-to-find display piece.

Visitors to Forte Sperone encountered actors embodying each archetype of the tarot in a dramatic journey through the historic fortress.
The reported limitation to just 27 copies suggests that this edition may have been reserved for collaborators, sponsors, or a very small circle of participants, making it extraordinarily scarce.

Combining the visionary world of Emanuele Luzzati with the experimental spirit of Teatro della Tosse, this complete 1991 set stands among the rarest and most unusual tarot-related artifacts to surface on the market.

About the Tarot
First published in 1987, Le Tarot Symbolique Maçonnique is a masterpiece of symbolic design. Jean Beauchard reinterpreted the tarot through the lens of Freemasonry, Hermetic philosophy, and initiatory tradition, creating a deck of extraordinary depth and visual power.
The result is both a divinatory tool and a sophisticated symbolic work, appreciated by tarot historians, esoteric students, and collectors of Masonic artifacts.
🪶 Collector’s Note
Original uncut sheets from Grimaud are exceedingly scarce, particularly for such an iconic and specialized deck. Unlike standard posters, this is an authentic production sheet used in the printing process, offering a fascinating glimpse into the manufacture of one of the most important French esoteric tarots of the twentieth century.
A magnificent and highly unusual collector’s piece for tarot enthusiasts, Freemasonry scholars, and lovers of symbolic art.

The deck presents a graphic reinterpretation of the Tarot de Marseille, blending traditional archetypes with a distinctly modern 1970s visual language. Clean lines, bold colors, and symbolic geometric compositions give the deck a unique aesthetic that reflects the experimental design culture of the era.
With 80 cards, this edition expands slightly beyond the traditional tarot structure and reflects the creative freedom typical of artist-designed tarot decks from the period.
🪶 Collector’s Note
The Tarocchi Archinstudio deck represents a fascinating moment in the history of tarot design during the 1970s European graphic design movement.
Guido Bolzani and Gian-Piero Bolzani were designers working through Archinstudio, producing several unusual card decks that blended graphic design, symbolism, and traditional playing card structures.
This tarot stands out for its minimalist, almost modernist reinterpretation of the Marseille tradition, replacing historical illustration styles with stylized forms and strong color compositions typical of 1970s Italian design.
Because the deck was produced in relatively limited numbers and distributed mainly in Italy, it remains quite difficult to find today, especially in such well-preserved condition.
