Rare promotional tarot deck produced by Lancôme in 1979 to celebrate the launch of its iconic perfume Magie Noire.
🔹 Published exclusively as a marketing premium and distributed in limited quantities through the Italian women's magazine Annabella.
🔹 Complete set of 22 Major Arcana only.
🔹 Illustrated by acclaimed Italian artist Giancarlo Carloni, whose elegant watercolor and ink artwork combines Art Deco sophistication, late-1970s fashion aesthetics, and subtle occult symbolism.
🔹 One of the most distinctive features of the deck is The Fool (Il Matto), which is widely recognized as depicting David Bowie, making this deck particularly appealing to Bowie collectors as well as tarot enthusiasts.
🔹 Card size: approximately 11.7 × 8.4 cm (4.6 × 3.3 inches).
🔹 Original Lancôme "Magie Noire" tuck box included.
🔹 No booklet was issued with this promotional deck.
⚠️ Condition: Cards show honest signs of use and age. The original box is present but displays noticeable wear and damage, as shown in the photographs. A rare surviving example complete with its original packaging.
🪶 Collector's Note
Created to accompany the launch of Magie Noire, one of Lancôme's most famous fragrances, the Anabella Magie Noire Tarot stands among the most unusual promotional tarot decks ever produced. Rather than commissioning traditional occult imagery, Lancôme enlisted artist Giancarlo Carloni to create a stylish and contemporary reinterpretation of the Major Arcana, perfectly reflecting the elegance, mystery, and glamour associated with the perfume.
Produced in limited numbers and never sold through normal retail channels, the deck was intended as a luxury promotional item. Its refined artwork, fashion-inspired characters, and unmistakable late-1970s aesthetic make it highly desirable today among collectors of tarot, perfume memorabilia, advertising ephemera, and vintage design.
The presence of a Bowie-inspired Fool card only adds to the deck's charm and collectability, making it a fascinating crossover piece between tarot culture, fashion, and pop history.
€69.90 EUR
A fascinating and uncommon piece of French esoteric history, this card appears to originate from an early 20th-century occult publication inspired by the teachings of Papus (Dr. Gérard Encausse) and the broader Martinist tradition.
The card represents La Force (Strength) and presents a rich network of symbolic correspondences drawn from the French esoteric tradition.
🔹 Arcana No. 11 – La Force
🔹 References to Saint-Yves d'Alveydre
🔹 Original mounted vintage card
🔹 Approximate card size: 12 × 7.7 cm (4.72 × 3.03 inches)
🔹 Presented inside a rigid magnetic photo holder/frame
🔹 Magnetic display holder size: 9 × 13 cm (3.54 × 5.12 inches)
🔹 Ready for display
🔹 Visible wear and patina consistent with age and use of the card
🪶 Collector's Note
During the first decades of the twentieth century, numerous French occult reviews and correspondence courses distributed tarot and initiatory teachings through detachable supplements. Students often mounted the cards themselves, creating personalized working sets that combined tarot symbolism, astrology, Kabbalah, and the teachings of influential occultists such as Papus and Saint-Yves d'Alveydre.
Rather than being part of a commercially manufactured tarot deck, the card was likely issued as a collectible magazine insert or educational supplement. Readers would cut out the cards and mount them onto cardboard to gradually assemble a complete set for study and divination—a practice common in French occult circles during the interwar period.
Surviving examples are increasingly difficult to find today, particularly as individual pieces. Beyond its value as a tarot-related artifact, this card is a genuine fragment of the French occult revival that shaped much of modern Western esotericism.
A wonderful addition to any collection of tarot history, Martinism, occult literature, French esotericism, or rare paper ephemera.

🔹 I Tarocchi di Paracelso (The Tarot of Paracelsus)
🔹 Published in 1993 by Antonio Delfino Editore, Italy.
🔹 Complete deck with original box and booklet.
🔹 Large-format cards measuring 14 x 7 cm, beautifully printed with artwork inspired by alchemical miniatures and Renaissance symbolism.
🔹 Condition: Cards are in very good condition. The box shows visible wear and rubbing from storage and age, as pictured.
This unusual and highly collectible Tarot was inspired by Paracelsus (1493–1541), the famous Swiss physician, surgeon, philosopher, astrologer, and alchemist of the Renaissance. Considered one of the founders of modern medicine, Paracelsus sought to unite science, nature, and esoteric wisdom.
The imagery of the deck draws inspiration from alchemical traditions and the celebrated illustrations of the Splendor Solis, one of the most beautiful alchemical manuscripts ever produced. The result is a unique Tarot that bridges mystical symbolism, Renaissance philosophy, and hermetic teachings.
Published by the respected Italian publisher Antonio Delfino Editore, this edition has long been out of print and is rarely encountered on the collector's market.
Perfect for collectors of rare Tarots, alchemy enthusiasts, historians of Western esotericism, and lovers of unusual European Tarot decks.
🪶 Collector's Note:
A scarce Italian Tarot dedicated to one of the most influential alchemists of the Renaissance. Large-format cards, distinctive artwork, and limited availability make this a desirable addition to any serious Tarot or occult collection.

About This Edition
Unlike ordinary tarot decks, this set was created as a cultural and artistic object linked to a unique immersive performance exploring the symbolism of the Major Arcana. Visitors to Forte Sperone encountered actors embodying each archetype of the tarot in a dramatic journey through the historic fortress.
The reported limitation to just 27 copies suggests that this edition may have been reserved for collaborators, sponsors, or a very small circle of participants, making it extraordinarily scarce.
🪶 Collector’s Note
A truly exceptional piece at the crossroads of tarot history, Italian theater, and fine art. Combining the visionary world of Emanuele Luzzati with the experimental spirit of Teatro della Tosse, this complete 1991 set stands among the rarest and most unusual tarot-related artifacts to surface on the market.
For collectors of Emanuele Luzzati, theatrical ephemera, and historically significant tarot editions, this is a museum-worthy acquisition.

A classic French Tarot Nouveau deck produced by Héron, made for the golden age of card clubs, cafés, and family tarot games in postwar France. 🔹 78 traditional paper cards
🔹 “Tarot Nouveau” illustrated scenes (19th-century genre imagery)
🔹 Non-symmetrical multicolor checked back design
🔹 Card dimensions: approx. 6 × 11 cm
🔹 Made in France by Héron
🔹 Toiline edition (reinforced / washable card finish)
🔹 Original toiline-covered cardboard box
🔹 Box shows visible wear due to age and storage; cards remain complete and in good playable condition
🔹 Includes original rules / point-value leaflet (“Tableau de la Valeur des Cartes”)
A beautiful and authentic example of traditional French tarot gaming, ideal for collectors and players who appreciate the feel, history, and practicality of true vintage play decks.
🪶 Collector’s Note
This original Héron Tarot Nouveau – Toiline edition, produced circa the 1950s–1960s, reflects postwar French card manufacturing, when durability and everyday use were key priorities. Héron Toiline tarots are far less common than Grimaud equivalents, and finding a complete set with its original box and rule leaflet is increasingly uncommon, making this a desirable piece for collectors of French playing cards and tarot history.

Le Grand Tarot de Belline was drawn by Edmond Billaudot (1829-1881) who was also known as Magus Edmond, a great 19th century mage. He used it to unveil the mysteries of the future to the Emperor Napoleon III.
It superficially resembles the Tarot de Marseille, but differs from it in time, design and symbolism, especially the numeral cards. The deck bequeaths ideas from a succession of well-known 18th & 19th century occultists and incorporates kabalistic, astrological and Egyptian influences, as well as the philosophical musings of Edmond Billaudot himself. A condensed cartomantic interpretation is hand-written on each card along with esoteric symbols and glyphs which facilitate the process of abstraction.
The deck is using ideas from Etteilla, Éliphas Leví, and Paul Christian. Each card is divided into four sections, upper and lower bands, and upper and lower fields. Written on the upper band is Leví's mundane kabalistic letter for the Majors, the Gematria number and Paul Christian astrological correspondences. The Red Key-Words are the same as in Jeu Du Grand Etteilla. The bottom band of the card contains the card name, the bottom field of the card contains a proverb specific to the card.

Step into the psychedelic mysticism of the early 1970s with the Starmaiden Tarot, a visually striking and highly symbolic deck born from the avant-garde circles of German producer Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser.
Deeply influenced by the counterculture era, cosmic consciousness, and esoteric exploration, this deck embodies the spirit of a time when music, mysticism, and altered states of perception merged into a single artistic language.
Created around the enigmatic figure of “The Starmaiden” — inspired by Gille Lettmann — the deck channels celestial femininity, intuition, and higher awareness through bold, radiant imagery reminiscent of underground magazines and glam-era aesthetics. Think Bowie meets cosmic tarot.
This edition is a faithful facsimile reproduction printed in France, preserving the vivid colors and hypnotic geometry of the original 1970s Sternenmädchens Wahrsagespiel.

The Oracle Belline, originally drawn by Edmond around 1845 and rediscovered by the seer Belline, is one of the most famous French oracles after the Tarot de Marseille. Its apparently simple yet psychologically charged illustrations are designed to speak directly to the unconscious, offering clear and emotional insights.
Each card carries a planetary correspondence, making this deck both mystical and structured—an indispensable classic for cartomancers, historians of divination, and collectors of French esoterica.
🪶 Collector’s Note:
Grimaud, a cornerstone of French playing-card history (founded 1848), later became part of France Cartes. Their Belline edition remains the definitive modern printing, faithful to the 19th-century original while preserving the tactile elegance of French cartomancy decks.
