This uncommon tarot deck was created in 1976 by Italian designer Guido Bolzani, together with Gian-Piero Bolzani, through their design studio Archinstudio.
The deck presents a graphic reinterpretation of the Tarot de Marseille, blending traditional archetypes with a distinctly modern 1970s visual language. Clean lines, bold colors, and symbolic geometric compositions give the deck a unique aesthetic that reflects the experimental design culture of the era.
With 80 cards, this edition expands slightly beyond the traditional tarot structure and reflects the creative freedom typical of artist-designed tarot decks from the period.
🪶 Collector’s Note
The Tarocchi Archinstudio deck represents a fascinating moment in the history of tarot design during the 1970s European graphic design movement.
Guido Bolzani and Gian-Piero Bolzani were designers working through Archinstudio, producing several unusual card decks that blended graphic design, symbolism, and traditional playing card structures.
This tarot stands out for its minimalist, almost modernist reinterpretation of the Marseille tradition, replacing historical illustration styles with stylized forms and strong color compositions typical of 1970s Italian design.
Because the deck was produced in relatively limited numbers and distributed mainly in Italy, it remains quite difficult to find today, especially in such well-preserved condition.

Designed by Italian illustrator Pino Zac, Tarot de l’An 2000 is a bold and irreverent tarot deck created in 1981, offering a sharp satirical vision of 20th-century society. Produced by Grimaud, this deck replaces traditional archetypes with scenes drawn from modern life—television, bureaucracy, surveillance, consumerism, and urban alienation—filtered through Zac’s unmistakable graphic humor.
Both playful and critical, the deck reflects the social anxieties and absurdities of the late 20th century, making it as much a cultural artifact as a divinatory tool. The artwork mixes caricature, irony, and visual wit, transforming everyday objects into symbolic commentary.

This deck captures a very specific cultural moment at the crossroads of political cartooning, graphic design, and esoteric tradition. Increasingly sought after by collectors of unusual, conceptual, and artist-designed tarot decks, this 1981 Grimaud edition is a compelling piece of modern tarot history.

🪶 Collector’s Note
The Tarot of the Ages is a distinctive late-20th-century tarot deck that stands apart from traditional European systems by weaving together multiple ancient civilizations into a single symbolic structure. Rather than reinterpreting classic imagery, the deck reimagines tarot as a universal historical language, rooted in myth, ritual, and cultural memory.
Mario Garizio’s painterly realism gives each card the feeling of an independent world, rich in atmosphere and narrative depth. This deck is especially sought after by collectors interested in multicultural tarot, U.S. Games Systems editions, and historically inspired esoteric artwork. A complete set in this condition is becoming increasingly hard to find.

Russian Tarot of St. Petersburg is a richly decorated tarot deck illustrated by Yury Shakov and published in 1992 by U.S. Games Systems.

This VERY RARE is a very unusual and powerful tarot deck. The imagery is strong and disturbing. It is not a deck that one could readily see being used for readings. Instead, the artist uses the tarot form to explore images that are both disturbing and at the same time so beautifully crafted that they engage us and perhaps this is the nature of the alchemical wedding which he is inviting us to join.
This has been created using computer graphic collage of astounding quality. The bodies of many of the figures in this tarot are rendered or textured in a wonderful way with repetitive mathematical patterns, while the backgrounds often incorporate fractal imagery from Mandelbrot sets. It is in a monotone sepia, and on first glance one could be drawn to describe this as a 'Gothic' deck, however, its imagery, though strong and dark, does not draw especially from death or horror images, but incorporates sexuality, magical symbolism, and alchemical emblematic forms.
This is a deck for serious collectors of tarot, and, I suspect, not for people wanting a deck to use for readings.

Perhaps what is most striking about this deck of cards is the intelligent game of equivalences that Santiago establishes with the traditional tarot, and the beautiful balance that he tries to maintain so that the entire region feels represented in it in some way. Thus, Santiago tries to “translate” all the arcana into Murcia, in a certainly notable effort, where Cehegín, Lorca, Cartagena, Archena, Fortuna, the Mar Menor and other towns are reflected and, therefore, also incorporated.
This deck is very rare and isn't easy to find.

This game has been developed based on both the practice of divination from traditional astrology and the most recent discoveries and directions in karmic astrology.
This curious oracle was published by Dusserre. It is of course not a tarot at all despite its name. It has very thick cards but only 36, of which only 22 are illustrated ( 22? Something like tarot maybe after all!):
12 for the zodiac signs
10 for the planets
14 other cards ? Well, they indicate in texts two lunar nodes and the twelve astrological houses.
This game is obviously aimed at a mature adult audience who will appreciate a certain kind of androgynous male and female nudity.
The backs are decorated with a background of a calming blue sky with some clouds.
Condition: Very good as pictured.
Usual edition because the cards are very thick .
The included booklet is in French. Out of print edition, a rare find for collectors!

This exceptionally rare Papus Tarot Divinatoire set is the first re-edition of the original 1909 Papus tarot, published by Éditions Dusserre in the early 1980s. This is not a modern reproduction, but a historically faithful re-edition made for serious students of occult science and cartomancy.
The Papus Tarot book if you want to details is available HERE
The deck contains the complete set of 80 cards (78 traditional arcana plus 2 additional cards), printed in a large format (78 × 120 mm) on very thick cardstock with square corners, exactly as intended for study and ritual use. The structure follows Papus’ original esoteric system, designed as a rigorous tool for initiates familiar with symbolic, kabbalistic, and occult correspondences.
Included is the original French-language booklet, explaining the philosophical and symbolic foundations of the deck. The original Papus tarot is preserved at the Bibliothèque nationale de France, making this edition one of the closest accessible versions for collectors and practitioners.
Condition is excellent considering the age. Cards are clean and well preserved; the booklet is in very good condition. The box shows visible wear on the back, as shown in the photos.
🪶 Collector’s Note
This Dusserre Papus Tarot is a cornerstone piece for advanced tarot collectors and esoteric historians. Unlike later commercial reproductions, this early 1980s edition was produced with scholarly intent and limited circulation. Its size, thickness, and square corners mark it as a deck meant for study rather than casual reading. Copies in complete condition are increasingly difficult to find, making this a museum-grade acquisition for serious connoisseurs of occult tarot.

A refined revival of Giovanni Vacchetta’s celebrated 1893 Italian tarot. This Lo Scarabeo edition—known as Tarot of the Master / Tarot del Maestro—re-colors the original engravings with elegant, antique tones while preserving their late-19th-century grace. The art feels “sculpted,” with figures rendered as if carved from marble, giving the scenes a tangible solidity and classical poise.
Structured as a full 78-card deck (Majors & Minors), it features multilingual titles on the borders with discreet keywords to support reading without distracting from the artwork. A beautiful choice for collectors of historical tarots and readers who enjoy clear, art-forward imagery.
